Three wounded in two separate incidents along LoC

A brother-sister duo and a teenage boy were injured in two separate incidents along the Line of Control in Indian-administered Kashmir on Tueaday.

Reports said a brother-sister duo received injuries in a mysterious blast near their house in a village on the LoC in Rajouri district.

The officials identified the duo as Arti Kumari and her brother Roheet Kumar, a teenager. The duo are residents of Sehar village located on Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.

The officials said that duo received injuries near their house in the village and were shifted to Jammu for special treatment as the injured teenage boy sustained critical injuries.

“The incident is mysterious in nature and there are reports of an explosion that caused injuries to duo for which investigation into the matter have been started,” said officials.

Meanwhile, a teenage boy was injured on Thursday in cross-border shelling and firing on the villages along the Line of Control in Poonch sector.

The officials identified the injured boy as Ikhlaq, son of Farooq Hussain of Poonch’s Shahpur village.

Officials said that the boy received multiple splinter injuries in Pak shelling on Thursday evening and was hospitalized in civil district hospital in Poonch.

They said that team of doctors is treating the injured boy, whose condition is stated to be stable.
