Srinagar attack: injured paramilitary trooper succumbs, toll three

A Central Reserve Police Force trooper, who was injured during an attack in the summer capital Srinagar, succumbed to his injuries on Monday at taking the toll to three.

Officials said trooper Jagernath Roy, who was admitted in SKIMS in Soura, succumbed to his injuries.

The slain CRPF man had fire injury in his head, officials said.

Two CRPF troopers, including an officer, were killed during the attack in Lawaypora on Saturday.

Notably, two alleged militant-workers involved in the attack were arrested by the police within 24 hours after the attack, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar had said.
