Kashmir sees 181 new Covid-19 cases, 175 recoveries and one death

New Covid cases again outnumbered recoveries in J&K on Thursday as 181 new cases, 175 recoveries, and one death was reported during the last 24 hours.

Officials said that 67 cases, 66 recoveries and one death was reported from the Jammu division and 114 cases, and 109 recoveries from the Kashmir division.

The number of black fungus cases remains at 35.

So far, 321,207 people have been infected with coronavirus out of which 315,686 have recovered, while 4,377 have succumbed.

As per the daily information bulletin 2,809,777 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,532 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,144 persons are in isolation.

According to the bulletin, 2,445,104 persons have completed the surveillance period and 350,620 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 11,602,136 samples are available. Out of 11,602,136 the number of samples tested negative stands at 11,280,929 while as 321,207 have tested positive, among them 1,144 persons are active, 315,686 persons have recovered and 4,377 persons have died.

The total number of active cases is 1,144, out of which 434 are from the Jammu division and 710 from the Kashmir division.
