Jammu and Kashmir recorded 108 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday, taking the tally to 3,22,658, while one fresh death pushed the toll to 4,390, officials said.
Out of the fresh cases, 43 were from the Jammu Division and 65 from the Kashmir Division, they said.
The officials said Srinagar district recorded the highest number of 20 cases, followed by 17 in Baramulla district.
The number of active cases dipped to 1,311, while 3,16,957 patients have recovered so far, they said.
The death toll due to the pandemic was 4,390 as one fresh death was reported in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the officials said there were 37 confirmed cases of mucormycosis or black fungus as no fresh cases were reported since the last evening.
As per the daily information bulletin 2,973,463 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,248 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,311 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,594,997 persons have completed the surveillance period and 365,517 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 12,249,063 samples are available.
Out of 12,249,063 the number of samples tested negative stands at 11,926,405 while as 322,658 have tested positive, among them 1,311 persons are active, 316,957 persons have recovered and 4,390 persons have died.
