Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday recorded 91 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the infected number of persons to 3,40,924, officials said.
They said the region also reported one more death due to the infection.
Of the fresh cases, 32 were recorded from the Jammu division and 59 from the Kashmir division, the officials said.
They said Srinagar district recorded the highest of 30 cases, followed by 20 cases in Jammu district.
There are 1,296 active Covid cases in the union territory, while the number of recovered patients was 3,35,103, the officials said.
The death toll due to the pandemic was 4,525.
As per the daily information bulletin, 5,157,331 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 8,293 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,296 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 4,710,745 persons have completed the surveillance period and 432,472 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 19,133,058 samples are available. Out of 19,133,058, the number of samples tested negative stands at 18,792,134 while 340,924 have tested positive, among them 1,296 persons are active, 335,103 persons have recovered and 4,525 persons have died.
