Jammu and Kashmir’s Covid-19 caseload climbed to 4,51,560 on Wednesday as 230 more people tested positive for the viral disease, while the death toll remained unchanged at 4,745, officials said.
Of the fresh cases, 126 were reported from the Jammu division and 104 from the Kashmir division, they said.
Jammu district recorded the highest number of fresh cases at 54, followed by 50 in Srinagar district.
There are 3,683 active Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir. So far, 4,43,132 people have recovered from the disease in the union territory, the officials said.
As per the daily information bulletin, 6,004,757 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 31,703 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 3,683 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 5,521,024 persons have completed the surveillance period and 443,602 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 22,546,263 samples are available. Out of 22,546,263, the number of samples tested negative stands at 22,094,703 while as 451,560 have tested positive, among them 3,683 persons are active, 443,132 persons have recovered and 4,745 persons have died.
