105 new Covid-19 cases in Kashmir, one more patient dies

Jammu and Kashmir on Monday recorded 105 fresh Covid-19 cases that took its tally to 3,39,932, while one more fatality pushed the death toll to 4,513, officials said.

Of the fresh cases, 27 were from the Jammu division and 78 from the Kashmir division, they said.

Srinagar district recorded the highest number of fresh cases at 31, followed by 19 in Jammu district.

The number of active Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir stands at 1,363. So far, 3,34,056 people have recovered from the viral disease, the officials said.

There is 50 mucormycosis (black fungus) cases. No fresh case has been reported since last evening, they said.

As per the daily information bulletin, 5,008,914 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,967 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,363 persons are in isolation.

According to the bulletin, 4,564,694 persons have completed the surveillance period and 430,377 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 18,704,749 samples are available. Out of 18,704,749, the number of samples tested negative stands at 18,364,817 while 339,932 have tested positive, among them 1,363 persons are active, 334,056 persons have recovered and 4,513 persons have died.
